ALL-AMERICAN BEEF BURGERS
Ingredients (Makes 4 burgers)

1 lb (450 g) ground beef, 80/20 preferred for juiciness

1 tsp salt
-
½ tsp black pepper
-
1 tsp garlic powder
-
1 tsp onion powder
-
1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
-
4 burger buns, toasted
-
Optional toppings:
-
American cheese
-
Tomato slices
-
Lettuce
-
Pickles
-
Onion (raw or caramelized)
-
Ketchup, mustard, mayo

Instructions
1. Prepare the Patties

In a bowl, gently mix the beef with salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and Worcestershire.

Form into 4 patties, about ¾-inch thick.

Press a small indent in the center of each patty so it cooks evenly.
2. Cook the Burgers
Grill or Pan Method:

Preheat to medium-high heat.

Cook patties for 3–4 minutes per side for medium, or longer if you prefer well-done.

Add cheese during the last minute if you want melted American cheese.
3. Toast the Buns

Lightly butter the buns and toast them on the grill or pan until golden.
4. Assemble

Bottom bun → sauce → lettuce → patty → cheese → tomato → onion → pickles → top bun.
